BY THE WAY... it should not be approved until the company shows it can stop and clean up any spill QUICKLY and COMPLETELY. And that proof should be in the real world... not some pr document fiction.
So show the world TransCanada how you would clean up a spill. Enbridge has provided you an excellent example -- a tar sands spill that hasn't been cleaned up in almost TWO YEARS since it contaminated part of the Kalamazoo river.....

The Heritage Foundation Group is absolutely correct on this. It is President Obama and the EPA that are at fault for this but you can also partly blame oil speculators in the stock market.

This is not an unbiased source. Heritage foundation principals are based on conservative ideals. They would then, be more supportive of Republican vice the Liberal or Democrats.
Even the wording of the headline is inflammatory.
Truth is what should win out and not partisan politics.
Far too often, one side of the debate, ambushes the other, with an article, the was born from an opposing organization.

It's absolutely shocking how many in here can so willingly look the other way when it comes to matching Obama's words with his actions.
Everything in this article is a fact except it left out what the EPA has already done to the coal industry and what Obama himself said about "bankrupting" coal fired electricity plants through Cap & Trade laws.
Seriously, how much more proof do you people need to see that Obama is certainly not trying to help, promote, encourage, support, benefit, or advance the oil & gas industry. Remember the drilling moratorium , Keystone pipeline, reduced number of permits on federal lands, and hundreds of new regulations. Compare that to the free money giveaways to the already financially troubled Solar & EV industry that the DOE clearly ignored and shoveled money to.
And for the last time, a "tax break" is not the same as a "subsidy". A tax break lets you "keep some of your own money" and a subsidy "gives you some of other people's money". How are those even remotely similar or comparable?!

Gotta consider the source here, no pretense of impartiality. That said I have no problem with the EPA holding oil and gas firms feet to the fire. Make them responsible for their actions. Hold them to the regulations. They get millions in government subsidies and then cry about it being too little.
