Can a way to edit the stations be added to the app? Also, if there's a cash discount, I don't see a way to enter that. I mean, I do see it on the stations pages, but I'm assuming that it's been entered on the website. Thanks!

"I believe I've suggested this in another topic, but the Android app doesn't show the station address when you have selected it to preform a price entry. Sometimes there may the same station at the same intersection (or close by and your GPS is not showing the closest) , and occasionally they have different prices. If you selected the wrong station, your price entry may be incorrect, or you may report an invalid price (diesel at a station that doesn't sell that grade)."

Really? If you are having that much trouble choosing the correct station on your phone maybe you should stop posting prices from your phone.

It would be great if the on the app you can record your gas fill up in a log and maintance information. This way we can get an acurate picture of what we are spending. I see all of this on the web site. I want to get rid of my current one and have only one app for my gas.

I would also like to see the trip calculator on the app also, so we see how we are doing.

i'd like to be able to access the fuel log book from the app so that i can log when i do fill up. i'm not going to run home to hop on the computer to log it, nor am i going to drive around with my laptop in my car to log it, nor would it be feasable to use the website on a smart phone as it takes too long to load when not on a wifi network...

Add access to Buddy list to allow making invitations, accepting invitations, sending and receiving messages between buddies, and perhaps give access to forums.

There are two major classes of GB members. There the old timers who mostly use computers and the web sites to report prices, and often participate in forums and have buddies. Secondly, there are the telephone app users who have only been around for a year or two. While a small portion of the app users, like myself, also use the web sites, most use only the app and never visit the web sites. They do not participate in the forums and do not have buddies; which is how you can identify them: they never respond to buddy requests and never participate in forums.

I love the Android app. The only addition I would like would be adding access to forum and surveys from the mobile app without going to your internet on your phone.

The android app is fine. But they should add a section for...kerosene. Mmmaybe. (I'm not sure if I even want the admins to do that...)

What is needed is THREE radio check-boxes on the price-reporting tool. One is for cash. One is for credit (and debit) cards. The other refers to the main sign out front.

Many reports are only from the sign out front. Most stations put the cash price on the sign, when the prices are different. But some actually put the credit price out front. (Murphy [Wal-Mart] does this.)

Your servers will quickly learn, just from reported prices, what price the big sign represents. And you will be able to enter the price correctly in your database.

This is ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED for the GasBuddy reporting app and web site to remain useful. We need to know what price it is. Some people only pay by credit card. Some people would pay by cash, if that was the only opportunity to receive a lower price. In my area, you don't have to use cash; the stations with the lowest prices have the same price for cash and credit. But that is not true in all areas.

The GasBuddy app needs to be updated with this ability ASAP. Either that, or be overtaken by another app/database which will do it before you.

You'ld better get to work and do it, or lose your business opportunity.

To add comments to an FSL, scroll down to the FSL section on the home page, click on Edit my favorite stations, click on Edit next to the station, type your comment into the comment box and click on Update.

You can also change the order in which you view the stations in the FSL so it corresponds to the order you see them as you drive. The default sort order is alphabetical, which isn't very useful.

And how do I do that? Or am I not allowed to ask that? I don't want another cocky answer.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this but you can store comments for stations in your FSL. They will be displayed any time you report them from either a computer or from the app. This is useful for comments such as "Membership price" or a cash/credit difference if you know the fixed difference.

It's for Android. I see it now in the Find Gas Near Me list, but not as a Favorite. At least I know it's there now. Thanks!

What platform? On the Android app, you can add comments if you are using the Find Gas Near Me feature. You can not add comments if you are using an FSL.

OK. But why not allow comments to be added in the app? Just a helpful suggestion.

You can only add stations from the the full web site which can be accessed from your phone. Currently, cash discounts are listed in the comments for each station.
