Who removes what they consider to be an "improper posting" on the whiteboards. Somebody wiped one off mine, left a warning, and no signature. Is that the moderators?

I'll bet you left Members Only off a Sam's Club post!

Hey calypso93... In other words... DocWyeth didn't like a price you had posted for some reason, perhaps for a fuel that wasn't offered, or maybe you accidentally put the diesel price in the premium field, or something along those lines.

DocWyeth was apparently positive it was an "improper post" and so he let you know, even if overly bluntly, on your Whiteboard.

Too bad he didn't give you some more info.

My suggestion would be to post a question on his Whiteboard, asking for more detail so that you won't make the same mistake again.

I'll try again. It is *not* likely that DocWyeth posted something to your whiteboard, which was somehow considered improper and replaced with the text "Post removed due to improper posting". What evidently happened is much simpler: DocWyeth posted the text "Post removed due to improper posting", which refers not to a whiteboard posting, but presumably to a price posting.

Clear now? (The answers to your original text would be "Not observed to have ever happened, but would be the moderators"; "No they didn't"; "It was more of a notification than a warning"; "No signature needed since the sender's name is attached"; "Not in this case" -- but it's mostly irrelevant, because of the above paragraph.)

DocWyeth is not a moderator.

It seems reasonably clear to me that the other party had removed one of calypso93's *price* postings, and was using the whiteboard to announce that fact; everything since then has just been a misunderstanding of the situation.

How about asking the poster who removed it!

sticker_shock,

calypso93 indicated that what was removed was a whiteboard posting. Without knowing the specifics of the warning, I couldn't speculate further.

It isn't a mystery calypso. The member likely removed a gas price you recently posted and wanted you to know via whiteboard.

Try posing this question on your local Scranton Discussion and see what happens.

Best of luck to you.

There is a name there. Wonder what posting was removed? Or maybe you could just write "post removed for blah blah" and let them wonder what it means. And here I thought it was worthy of genuine concern. Thanks for the replies.

Good question, on my wb, it always shows who posted. Also, you don't have to delete the offensive posts, better yet, just BLOCK them!

You can set it to your buddy's only if you want, go to settings, and reset it. That way no nuts can post junk to you .

Best of luck to you too!
